These are some of the R4s that have been owned by our ex Registrar Liam Jones. Sadly the blue 62 car and the yellow pickup have moved to a new owner but of course this may well allow the opportunity for a future project.
Here are most of the R4s that I have owned over the years. Almost all of them were brought for the simple reason they were otherwise going to be scrapped. On the whole the were just beyond economical repair for the owners but with a few hours work they were returned to the road with a years MOT and passed on to new owners for them to carry out the cosmetic improvements while still using them on a daily basis. Even the Turquoise GTL which was very badly coroded is now in the process of being restored by a gentleman from Manchester.The only car never to be sold is my wife's GTL. Although now showing its age bodily it still gives great service on a daily basis. My next project is may bee a F4 or F6 van converted to a retro look i.e chrome work ,bench front seat and a earlier type bonnet. If someone knows of a bodily sound van please contact me. |
